About Us

"The Small Church With a Big Heart."

To all who hunger for more than bread,

To all who thirst for more than drink,

To all who are weak and need strengthening,

To all who mourn and need comforting,

To all who are looking for worthy and loyal friends,

To all who need us as much as we need them,

All are welcomed and loved.

A Brief Description

West Berlin Presbyterian Church is a small rural church where families come to learn about and worship Jesus Christ in a traditional manner. There are families in which three generations worship together regularly. There are families that have joined the congregation recently.

Reverend Jennifer Eastman Hinkle enjoys serving the community and continually looks forward to growing with the community as God calls us to do God's work and will.

Weekly Sunday School classes for youth and adults (September through May) and Sunday worship services are conducted. Special services are conducted on Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Thanksgiving Eve, and Christmas Eve. Vacation Bible School is offered during June each year.

The Congregation is governed by a six-member Session of Elders elected by the Congregation. The Session is responsible for the spiritual and material well being of the church.

Church expenses are supported by member contributions, special events sponsored by church groups, bequests and memorials, and interest earned on investments.

The pastor is the only paid employee of the church. All clerical, upkeep, maintenance, financial, and music activities are completed by generous and devoted volunteers.
